Hi Everyone,
Can someone please recommend an engine rebuilder in Australia? My 98 996 has major problems, possibly a cracked sleeve, head or gasket.

You don't want your motor rebuilt, because it is an early 996 unit (they all had issues), your best bet is to buy a crate motor from your dealer (in North America 3.4 units are between $11500.- and $13000.- retail and they come complete, plus a core charge of around $2000.- which you usually get back), you couldn't possibly rebuild an early engine for the same amount of $$$$ and get same product as a NEW factory crate motor.( Factory warrany with the crate motor).
