Schnell intake...

I assumed the Schnell intake was like the fabspeed and actually removed the resonator from the airbox... but nope, it's not. It just blocks it off, like the orange cap mod. What a waste. Barely makes any more noise than stock. :/

Anyone have a used K&N or Evo intake for sale?

If I find a cheap used one, the Schnell will be for sale, $75 shipped in the 50 states.

82targa is infamous around these parts
Yeah I found that out too. I cut off the bottom half of that resonator for more volume in the airbox. I noticed a difference in sound, but I have no clue if its because I cut the resonator box.

Yeah, after driving around with it, it definitely makes more sounds but I'm pretty sure it does zero for performance. If anyone is interested, I'll sell it cheap.

.
The resonator will not be able to reduce any noise as long as it is blocked off! I guess you will get the same noise with or without the removing the resonator.
