Roche,
I just picked up an 01 w/ 35K (1 month ago)
Balance of warranty
comfort package
tecnique package
PSM
full aero kit (not the gt wing)
litronics
Lapis Blue/savannah beige leather interior w/ artic silver accents
Seller asked 44.9 and after negotiations we agreed to 43K..
I would like to reiterate what members have stated previously….have a PPI performed.
I was about to close a deal on a 00 and after the PPI, the car came up front end damage and the initial stages of RMS issues.
Best of Luck

I just sold my 1999 996 coupe last week with 36k miles for $43K http://www.plavanracing.com/forsale1999carrera.htm . Not a bad deal since I bought it 1.5 years ago for $46k.
Now I just have to wait for the 997's to drop from MSRP and save a bit more money (and tell my fiancee to go out and sell some more houses
).
Prices should really drop these next few months once the 997 is out in the public... I'm going to see it this Sat. at Newport Beach.

C'mon, the 02 and newer cars have a bigger engine that was 80% different, the suspension and many other things were changed. Call your local porsche dealer and check it out before you make the investment.
