I'm looking at buying either an MY '02 or '03 C4S. A few cars that I'm interested in are NOT from a Porsche dealer and are out of state however still covered under the manufacture warranty.
Will a local dealer certify a car not purchased from them?
I'm assuming I'll have to pay approximately $1500 if I can find one..

 

No.....the only thing you can do is sell it to them, have it certified and buy it from them. You will have to work it out with the sales manager. But it's not likely.
