You could have a wheel out of round. I don't know if there is anything in the drive train that would cause the problem. If you know someone with another set, swap the rear wheels and see if that cures the problem. If so, then put one of yours back on to see if the problem comes back. Then, try the other one to isolate which it is.

Does the vibration go away as you speed up or get worse?

Wobble

Just had the same problem in my other car, it turned out to be a very worn out wheel bearing.

Eric more likely than not that wing is causing the car to be unbalanced at high speeds. Best option is just to take it off and put it on the curb for someone to haul off. On Monday morning. About 8:30.

Mark, when can we meet up? I want to try out both your front wheels if you don't mind. I just spent another 100 bucks having someone check out the front end and do an alignment. the shake is still there

I work from home so swing by whenever. FYI, I have two large Great Danes so if that freaks you out let me know ahead of time and I'll feed Raza to them and keep them busy. I'll shoot you a pm with my address

996Jammy is infamous around these parts
In my case, my front right rim was out of round (compliments of NYC streets). Has no shake whatsoever until I hit 70mph. Waiting till I can't deal with it anymore and send it out to get rounded again.

ya I plan to run over to mark's this weekend to swap wheels with, I guess its possible the rim is bunk, but the road force machines can't notice them,

btw I think i have WB wheels. my back wheels stick out past the fender well
