The passenger window goes up and down just fine. It won't dip down though when opening and closing the door.

What should I be checking? Is there any chance this could be a fuse?

My indy thinks it's the window regulator and that'll cost around $450 installed.

I'm guessing you have to pop the door to check both?

Were we separated at birth? I just had the regulator unit replaced last spring for the same problem.

I'm guessing your next problem will be the bushings at the front of the tranny. I threw those suckers out at Sebring in October :-(

Deputydog,
Have you tried resetting it yet? Instructions are in the manual. I have has the same issue with mine. I notice it happens when I am putting up the top and dont wait for the windows to go all thw way up.
Reset (if you have the manual check that I don't have mine in front of me) press the window switch ans roll the window all the way down keep it pressed for 10 sec. then press and roll the window all the way up keep the button pressed for 10 seconds more. repeat for other window.
good luck
Doug

Can you take a look at your manual and confirm. I lost mine about 4 years ago...

I tried what you suggested and it didn't work. I'd like to take another shot at it if we can confirm that this is the correct procedure.

The re-training will not fix your issue unfortunately. It fixes the symptom of the windows not going up or down with one-touch.

Yeah, it's the regular. When you pull the handle slightly, you can hear the window trying to dip but it doesn't. That rules out the micro switches as both handles cause the same thing to happen (or not happen). The windows will go up and down all the way so that rules out the motor. Looks like it's the regulator. Arrrrhhhggg. $400 to make my window go up and down a half inch...

Buy a new window regulator - they are around $120, then follow DIY on Renntech. You may need a hair drier to help separate insulation layers inside the door. I just replaced mine - no more glass on glass when you shut the door! lol!
