Check the option code sticker under the front hood. If you have the aero option code, then you've got factory aero. I don't know how to spot a factory aero kit that was added after mfg though.
the oem wing is fiberglass... are there any stickers? if not, def not factory.
crap i just got called into work, will have to look at it tomorrow thanks for helping out the newb guys

Option code XAA should be on your option sticker under the hood and in your owners manual if it's factory aero too. that's the quickest way to tell.
Should be one of the first ones listed too.

None of these things will tell you definitively. The kit can be purchased after the original sale from Porsche. Everything can look right but still be aftermarket. For example many aftermarket wings and bumpers are takeoffs with the Porsche part number stamped on them. Many people with aftermarket wings buy stickers off ebay and put them on.
The decklid not lining up correctly could easily be due to installation error. That is adjustable.

You could always send off your VIN and get a certificate of Authenticity from Porsche if you REALLY need to find out. I've got mine framed in my office.

I wasn't referring to the sticker under the hood but the stickers under the decklid. If the car is purported to have been sold originally with the aerokit it would be listed on the option code sticker under the hood.
Sometimes, those paper option stickers are so faded that they are hard to read... I know mine is.
but if there are no stickers, most LIKELY it wasnt factory installed.
If there were stickers... the lid could of been dealer installed and still not factory.
The logic was... no stickers, high probability of it being not factory.... Agree?
I understand that...

No, I don't agree. Many of the early Aeros were not delivered installed from the factory on the car but were installed at the dealer and would not have the option code on the label. All factory components.
My point is, if the stickers were missing... nevermind.
