Pricing advice

I'm looking at adding a 02-03 996 to my garage.

A dealer has a CPO'ed 03 with 30k miles and we wants $33,000 for it.

Standard options...PSM, leather, heated seats, sports exhaust

they won't go any lower.

Is this reasonable?

thanks

With CPO?!? - that same car was 10K more 6 months ago... sounds like a good deal.

Who the hell knows what a good price is anymore? For all I know in 6 months they'd have to pay someone to take that piece of trash off their hands. The market is still in free fall I guess. In July 2007 I paid $42K for the same basic car, and that was an amazing deal at the time. I bet you can find an equal one for less.

What's the condition of it?

What color combo? The reason I ask is certain color combos (silver/black) are higher in demand and command slightly higher prices.

The market is soft. Make an offer you want and leave your phone number. There are more and more of 996s coming on the market for sale. I don't know if blue interior is a high demand color if you consider resale value.

At worst, you will get a call a few months from now and it will be driving season. The economy is not getting any better soon so you have the advantage.

There's a nice 40th car for sale on rennlist. He's only asking 36k. That seems like a great deal to me. I paid 51k for mine 15 months ago .
