My car is a 2001 porsche carrera 996 narrow body. Iv'e done fabspeed headers, muffler bypass,and fabspeed cold air and foam filter. I also dropped it with eibach and and new rims and rubber just monday axis 8.5 and 10.5 19s on 235 35 and 295 30 michelin ps2s! head unit and lights. Ive only owned her for about two and a half months but i hate stock vehicles! Ilike to make them mine! If you know what i mean??

 

Nice...I like your taste in mods. I liked the rim pics on your other thread. How many miles on her? How was the spring install? How do you like the ride feel?

 

Well thank you! The springs Wur easier then my Audi tt and the ride is rougher but I expected it!! What I didn't expect was when I went 18 to 19 the ride smoothed out alittle!! But it is a lighter rim and more rubber! And my baby has 80,000 miles! Nothing for a Porsche! Oh and my car came with litronics! And I tinted her at 20% all the way around!

 

When did you get the car? Did you get a good deal on it?!?!

Welcome to the club. One thing that always gets to me is a 996 with the spoiler left in the up position. Nice looking black 996 you've got there.

 

Thanx again to all the psative feedback! As for the spoiler, it was just for the pix. But i do know what you mean! As for the purchase, I purchased her in late November at 78,000 miles for 26.50 cash! He wanted 30 but couldnt resist the stack of cash! Wich i had a problem letting go of!!!!
Is there anything i should know to service that isnt common sense??? (example) On my Audi TT the Haldex unit needs an oil change over engine oil change! and the manual ask for an oil change every 40,000 or so!!
