Child Seat: Inquiry

Just got a 2004 C2 911. Looking for a resonably priced child seat for the back (32lbs 3 1/2 year old). Nothing on eBay. Any suggestions?

Check the For Sale section on 6speed. There was one for sale for quite a while. I use a Graco Turbo booster seat for my 3 yr old. The back seats are so narrow in the car, however, that it's not a perfect fit (booster seat doesn't sit against the very back of the car seat). I'm not sure if anything but the Porsche booster seat is the best solution. Seems like 6speed, eBay and an authorized dealer may be the best places to purchase.

I use a Graco for my 5.5 month old boy. He seems to like it especially when he's in dad's porsche

I ended up getting a Britax, which fits perfectly in the recess of the back seat.

I'm in the same situation. I'll probably pick up the Britax this weekend (though I doubt my son will want the cow print (cute BTW) ). We've always used Britax and have loved them. If it is a good fit in the rear then I'm sold (unless a great condition Porsche car seat magically appears on the boards this week...)

Why put the kid in the back?
I had the airbag deactivator installed and my son (2.5YO) absolutely LOVES riding with the top down.
Seeing the joy on his face more than makes up for the high price of the seat and deactivator

In MD I believe it is the law that these little tykes only ride in the back seat.

That was some funny sheat.

More seriously, though, what child seat options exist for a 3 month old aside from the "don't drive my Porsche" option?

I don't think the Britax Marathon fits. I tried to install my Britax Marathon car seat in the 997S, but the car seat is too large and the top hits the back window.
