Audio Upgrades Amps, Ipod, Sirius, Sub
Just thought i would post my Audio system upgrades so far. They will be finished soon. I have installed an MTX 7402 Amp to power the Custom Sub in the back seat(MTX 7510-44) there are 4 - 1/2 Farad Caps under the Plexiglass...and in place of the CD holder is a Sirius Starmate ST2 Dash kit. Also I have wired an Ipod Controller into the Stock head unit and there is a second Amp on the way for the door speakers.
NO Perminant Damage was done to the car...NO Holes Drilled or wires cut!!!

did you do the work yourself? if so ill give you props since you did it yourself. PERSONALLY, im not thrilled with it, amp is way too big and wiring is like whoa but again nothing you cant fix. hide the wires and grab a different amp, you should be all set.
dash piece looks awesome though
again, my .02

If you have a Cab, I have an absolutely sick fiberglass enclosure that holds a Boston 10" sub that I will let go on the cheap. Once I did that factory roll bar, it did not want to hack it up to fit the bar. Most people don't even notice it once it is installed under the seat cushion but the coolest benefit is that you can pop it right out for a track day. Let me know if you have an interest and I will post a pic.
Very nice work. And putting the sub, literally, in the back seat is something I never thought about. I have a 3 year old daughter. She only needs one seat (and occasionally one extra for her dolly, but I might work around that), so could be a good option for me.
Where did you find that sub enclosure? Custom? Is it fiberglass as well? How did you secure the enclosure to the car? Appreciate your input.
