just curious...what would a 996 with a bad engine be worth? $10k?

The add says "knocking sound". What does that mean to you? IMS failure?

It means big $. Too bad it drives all the prices down. The thing you keep hearing is engine failure. Porsche you listening???, 30-60k miles and boom. Heck pintos and vegas the laughing stock of the 70's, lasted longer than that and they didn't sticker for 90K.
