993 hood on 996

Does the hood from a 993 fit a 996 without modification? Anyone have a picture?

Thanks

I surely doubt it! A '99-'01 996 hood won't even fit on a '02 or later model 996, much less the 993 hood.

One of the German tuners offers an old style hood for the 996. I can't remember which one it was. It did look a little out of place IMO.

Cargraphic and Gemballa make a 993 style hood for the 996, I've seen it before and it looks sharp!

I like it but the front seem between the bumper and the hood looks off.

I think it looks great as well. I called around, I think Cargraphic offered the best price on it. It is available in either Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass.

I like it too! I didn't think I would, but WOW it looks great.
Wonder how it would look on a NA 996 like mine without the aero kit, etc.?

Jeru... that sounds like a job for your skills.

looks good - I don't think it'll add a lot of HP, but I think it's a go.
