I was thinking about upgrading my turbo front bumper to the techart bumper...

I don't know if it will fit to my GT3 side skirts, and my turbo rear bumper.

Here are some pics of my car right now...

After upgrading rear bumper and painting calipers:

What do you think, will this techart front fit to my car:

I would keep the Turbo bumper. The Techart is "too much" for my taste.

I wouldn't have to pay extra for upgrading to that front bumper. Coz someone hit my bumper and my insurance would pay for a new one. My dealer would give me a techart one. And I was thinking if I dont like the massive look of the techart, I can easily change it back to my used turbo bumper.

Still don't know what to do???!

I like the idea. I'm in the same boat - got hit in my parking lot at work and tore the front bumper cover... so in addition to changing the front bumper cover I got side rocker panels (they were free with the bumper) and the matching rear bumper cover. I say go for it - as I've heard before, these cars aren't really collector's items, so you should do what you like.

I got my stuff from betterbodiesmotorsports.com here in San Diego. The only thing I would caution is that all of these pieces are fiberglass and you really need an artisan to do it right... and patience - hopefully I'll get my car back next weekend after almost two months in the body shop... I'll post pictures when I get it back.

Don't do fiberglass. I got one, and no matter how good the install is, mine was pretty good, I see ripples on the surface. Other people have complained about the same issue. Luckily, my front got hit too so I am waiting to get something in polyurethane.

If you do it you'll need to change out the side skirts to TechArt style and add a rear wing to balance out the aero and looks...something like this

Jason -- I'm new here so I can't PM.

Can you send me your price for the Techart side skirts (996 narrow body) and front spoiler lip.

My email is mwh27@***.net. Thanks!

it looks very nice but VERY inconvenient especially once the car is lowered (can't get a body kit and not lower the car), probably can't get over speed bumps

Since we're on the topic of TA front bumpers... Hey Fly. Did you get your bumper from NR Auto? Is your car MK 1 or 2? How was the fitment?

My MK 1 is currently at a body shop having the exact same bumper installed. The overall quality is very good, but the fitment isn't what I, nor the body shop, was expecting.

Anyway, it'll be completed this Friday. I'm putting polyurethane TECHART side skirts on. See https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-products.html. I wonder how they'll look. The front bumper is approximately 3 inches lower than the stock polyurethane.
