you have to take off the door panel...not hard...then there are 4 or 5 torx screws holding the "grab" handle" and the silver door pull in place

once you do that there is a pin with a "c" clip to remove the silver handle

Are you doing more parts?
you should think about doing the rear panels, especially with your audio setup, cover the sub too, it'll look sick!!

If you decide to do the dash, take pics while you do it. I'm really interested in that.

me too...big time.

I love alcantara. I'd like to do the center console and shifter bag and a portion of the doors as well.

where ya get the material again? and how did you fasten it down?

did you do this before? or are you just naturally crafty like that? haha...some people are!

thanks man

Does this Alcantara wear well? Meaning, it won't start falling apart anytime soon right?

if you've never done this before, you should start with small and easy to do trim first, once you get the touch, do the more difficult ones.

You guys should also check out www.928leather.com,
if you are interested in this upgrade but don't wanna do it yourself, or want something custom with stitching.

From what I've heard Alcantara holds up very well... completely synthetic product.
supposedly can take sun, moisture, doesn't stain easy, etc...

but still I am still not willing to press my luck with my Alcantara.

I'm thinking of getting some in black to contrast what I already did

$99 or something close to that per yard
