Which car would you get?
I am putting on the SC on my C4S.
However, I know every inch of my car and have had it since new. I have done many of my mods myself. If the C4S is used, get the TT.
I wouldn't trust somebody elses mods and I don't know how hard they drove it.
The GT3 is probably the best, but it WILL be a ***** as a daily driver.

The GT3 is fine for daily driving. The ride is NOT harsh. If that is your only worry as to whether getting a C4s or a GT3, get the GT3, it is a superior car/motor in everyway...In fact it's the best handling Porsche there is other than the CGT...
have to chime in on this one
There is a huge difference between the two. The C4s is a luxury car in comparison to the gt3. (clutch, suspension, ride height, geometry, setup) The gt3 is harsher, tougher to drive well, less comfortable for daily drives with more effort needed to drive it. With that said. The gt3 is beyond doubt the best Porsche that I have driven or owned. It takes far more skill to drive then the turbo, rewards you, and makes you feel that you are a driver rather then being driven. If you drive both cars for an hour the answer will be clear which are is for you. They are completely different. I think the gt3 can be a daily driver for someone who truly loves driving all the time. The c4s is a far superior daily driver for someone who wants to enjoy their morning coffee in the car, relax with some music and when needed have the ability to take a truly spirited drive. The gt3 is for the driver who always wants to be thinking, really loves the driving aspect all the time. As for the turbo-one of the best daily drivers, snow, rain, city cars-just a question of whether you like NA or Turbo cars. if your roads are pitted, rough or bad then stay away from the gt3.
Buy as used TT and drive it all the time, GT3 is not a daily driver and the C4s IMHO other then a great looking body is underpowred to say the least...even the TT is going to feel front end heavy but LOTS O PONIES...helps overcome that feeling asd you rush forward!!!!...

GT3 won't be usable in snow. I love our GT3 and wouldnt trade it for a Turbo or anything else. The ride is plenty comfy on smooth-ish roads, only thing you have to pay attention to is speed bumps and dips especially when going in and out of parking lots -- gotta take an angle or SCRRRAAAAPPPEEE. If its a spring/summer car, GT3 is the way to go!
get a TURBO
i have a 4s
but if u ask me would i buy the same car....MAYBE but turbo might be my final choice...
my 4s has been the BEST car EVER no problems..75 thousand km, runing costs is VERY low (mercedes is 2 times more exp) no problems at all i use it daily..
but once u ride-drive a TT u never want to go back
take care and g luck

3 reasons why you shouldn't even consider the GT3 as a daily driver for Boston:
1. As other have said, the GT3 won't be driveable in snow.
2. The GT3 doesn't have any underbody coating! With how much salt they use around Boston, you're going to rot the car awfully fast, and you said you want to keep it for a while. Never mind that you'll be destroying a work of art! Even if you don't drive it in the snow, from December-April all of the roads are covered in salt dust. So you'd need to get a winter car for a daily driver.
3. I've lived in Boston for 9+ years. It was bad enough driving my C4 on the roads as a daily commuter, and I don't really mind a harsh ride. With the GT3, forget about it. You're going to lose all of your fillings, plus your front spoiler, within the first couple of months of ownership.
This leaves you with a used Turbo or S/C'ed C4S. I'd go for the Turbo since it's factory designed and proven, plus you can get service anywhere! You might even be able to find one that's still under factory warranty.
I know you said you don't care about resale value, but god forbid you ever had to sell it, the Turbo will retain its resale value much better!
