Heated seat doesnt work.....Any suggestions?

Hi everyone, it hasnt really been cold enough to need my heated seats until recently and just realized that my drivers side doesnt work. The passengers side works perfectly but the drivers side doesnt. When I press the heated seat button, it just flashes red for just a moment, but doesnt stay on. Just a flash and thats it. Cant find a blown fuse. I have read of problems with the element. Could this be the case? Would a bad element cause the button to just flicker red? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the element has become detached, start at the lower back. Or a loose connection in the wireing. Start with the former.

I checked all the connections. All seem to be connected. How do I check the element? Thanks.
