Well the car is just about done, it just need to be wetsanded and buffed, these arnt the best pix , but u get the idea, will post new when completed

AS YOU CAN SEE IT LOOKESD OK, BUT IT DID LOOK LIKE THEY WERE NOT FACTORY, SO THE SHOP DECIEDED THAT A BLACK SILCONE TRIM WOULD LOOK MORE LIKE A GASKET

 

Is there black trim around the side vent??? Looks weird from the photos

 

its black silicon, it makes it look like a gasket so it didnt look like its just glued on, it looks better in person, espec since the flash reflects everything

Without it it would of looked like this, and i thought that looked weird, almost like it just a fake 3D peice im hoping when its all done everything will tie intogether niceley.

C'mon leave the guy alone. He didn't come asking for opinions before trying something out, he just went with what he liked and wants to show it off. If you don't like the look he's not going to undo it so just leave him be. If you like it go ahead and let him know. Just because this is a web forum doesn't mean you should leave decorum at the door.

 

I'm liking everything but the vents. Can't decide if it looks like a Turbo or a Boxster. But everyone has there own taste and what matters is if you like it.

thanks for the positive comments, and just so everyone knows i had no pics/ reviews/ tips/ of anyone else who has done this mod, it took alot of guts to let them cut in my fenders lol

engine swaps would cost to much, although i wouldnt be apposed

 

nice!! make sure you paint you inner fender flat black. im going to be installing the mesh also when im done. i just got them in friday. they looks nice!

 

yah im going to try to get some mesh back there, and spray some paint in the fender wells, the quality of the vents are great, cant wait to see them on your car!!!
