Talking My new C4S

Ever since I've been 6 I've had a picture of a Porsche on my wall...

today it's going to go from my wall to my garage...

I'm going into Vegas to pick this up:

It's been a long 25 years, it's not a new one, but a stepping stone into the Porsche family.

I've been reading posts on this site for a while now and have not been too active, that's going to change quick.

Good to be in the club

It is good to be in the club, so I'm glad to be one of the first to welcome you aboard. I got my dream car last August and haven't stopped smiling since. Be prepared to have a good excuse for all the trips to the garage or whereever you're going to keep it - because you'll spend a lot of time doing that.

Congrats! Post pics when it's yours.

This wasn't the original color I was looking for, I wanted white or seal gray. But the price, the miles just worked. Plus this is going to be my wifes daily, she only works 4 miles from our house, so the miles won't be bad.

I'll get it on the weekends and one day during the week.

I have thought that as well but I do love my car. Down the road I will buy another Porsche but I am sure it will be a 997 C4S. I plan to hold on to my C4 though because I am putting money in it already.

Very nice. Do you mind telling how much and what options? I am in the market and trying to get a feel for what I should be paying.

I think you need to fire the lawyer that set up that agreement and find one that can get you a better timeshare... j/k

But I gotta say, that is a novel approach - buy it for your wife, she'll get tired of it soon, since women tend to think of these things as "just cars" and wham bam the dream is all yours!

Thumbs up

Congrats and welcome to the Club!!!!

I'v had mine almost a year and a half now and still love it.

I looked for over 8 mts for a white one....but found my Seal Grey creampuff.

Now your wife will be asking you..."Honey, do these tires make my rear end look fat?"

And you can truthfully say...."Yep, they sure do!"

Maybe if those big tires make her rear end look fat you'll get to drive it more?

You're going to want it more than that!!
