I needed to buy a air box from a 996 for my 3.4 swap into my boxster. When I got the thing in the mail today i saw that the airbox had this carbon fiber look plug installed in it. I don't know if this is something you 996 guys need or want. BUT if you want it email me. djmanjay@yahoo.com Pay the shipping and whatever else you want to do and it is yours. I also have the bottom half of the intake box left too. The top had to be sacrificed for my boxster to live.

the plastic thing is from the fabspeed intake muffler delete kit also known as 'cold air kit'. The kit also replaces the hose from the airbox to the TB with a silicon one.
