Cool Clear or Amber Rear Tail Lights?

Hello fellow 6speeders,

As the title says, my car has the stock amber tail lights. I'm thinking of purchasing the clear/red's from Suncoast Porsche. In your opinion, which tail lights look better on my car?

Thanks so much!

orange looks dated imo

You know, I was thinking that amber looks pretty unfresh on your car and it was making me feel like I am going to need to switch mine out too for the clear since I have a 996 MkII as well. But then I looked at a pic, and I already have clears. Mine is a '03, when did they switch to clear?

I think the clear looks the best on a black car, although I might be a bit biased.

So, Red/Clear LED's, OR Red/Clear OEM's?

... Can't go wrong with OEM's though.

Can't go wrong with OEM'S but the Led's do update the car.... Here are a couple of photo's of my black 996 with the red/smoked led's.

Nice p-car.

The LED's do actually give the car an updated look. But I'm thinking of sticking with the OEM's until I can buy a 997 p-car that comes stock with them.

P.S. You're in dire need of new tires my friend.

Anyone else want to shed some more light on the subject?
