used car real value

I've been noticing a big difference in price between a Porsche dealer compared to other dealers (like Audi dealer selling a used Porsche). It seems that Porsche dealership (only one in Phoenix area) are asking way over Kbb suggested price. Is CPO that much more expensive than non CPO? Does Porsche's don't follow KBB, NADA or Edmunds' suggested used car prices?

This seems to be the truth! Im looking for another Porsche to replace my z3 coupe. I have a buddy that is good friends with a salesman at a Porsche dealership in PA and it seems that all of their Porsche's that are there or come in are sooo over priced! I can find other Porsche's for about $5-10k less at other "none" Porsche dealerships. I guess I know where Iam going now.

CPO adds at least $2K to the price.

If it's only $2k more to get CPO, then it's not so bad. From what I noticed, Porsche dealers are asking about $10k or more for comparable car that's being sold on other non Porsche dealer.

Yah the dealers are way out of touch with used pricing on 996's.. I haven't seen a single good deal at any Porsche dealer lately, all independent dealers or private sales.

Something to think about with CPO. Repairs done by Porsche under CPO are warranted only for the remaining coverage period. Meaning if something breaks when you have 5 months coverage left, the warranty for the repair is 5 months. If you have the work done under a 3rd party warranty service and there is 5 months of coverage remaining, your Porsche performed repairs will be warranted for two years.
