My 2002 Cab. has developed the problem where you open the door and the window dips then goes up immedatly.....
I was not ready to part with $400 for a new latch as that is where the sensor and computer for the window is.....
Solution....Remove the latch...NOT as simple as it sounds....door handel must come off first....
Once you get it off remove the clip holding the micro switch in place...
if the micro switch is still good(replacement one available from mouser Electronics) then look at the "wheel" it rides on, mine was all messed up...with a little epoxy and a dremel i was able you fill in the crack and return it to its original shape....
In the first two photos note the grove in the plastic marked by a red arrow....the blue arrow marks the switch location
the Final photo shows the grove filled in with epoxy and "dremel'ed"

I realize this is almost 10 years old, I have a similar issue with a chattering from the window motor when the passenger door is closed the first time. This is on a 2001 996TT new purchase a few days ago. All issues described on the passager door.
The second issue is the interior light is not working at all with this door open.
I took the door panel off to fix what i though was a micro switch problem, after taking the panel off the window started lowering again! Tested each micro switch over 30 times with a meter and they were solid.
As most of you have already guessed, everything worked for a few minutes after I put the panel back on and not it’s not lowering again.
Any thoughts??? Micro switches are good on the (2) handles Is it the latch? guessing so as the interior light not working at all from this door.
I had the same problem. Tug and jiggle the wiring harness. If that makes it work, then you likely have some broken solder joints within the door lock actuator. I took it apart and tried to re-solder it, but I messed up some of the internals, so I got a used one on fleabay for $80, works great.
You hit the nail on the head, just moving the harness caused to window to drop. So I have one ordered.
"3B1837016P Lock $315.80" (right side) from dealer. saw another post, guy got his from Pelican "world standard version"??? didn't work paid the dealer to replace it again.
That fixed it.
After I replace it I can clear all the codes, and hopefully gets rid of the double beep!
I did take it apart observed slight corrosion and one pin didn't ring out when tested with a meter.(flexing the connector)
I have a zip tie holding the connector toward the door while I wait, Getto fix but only for a week,at least the window lowers now.
Also pulled the auto dimming mirror for repairs (75% black)
