Don't know about non-turbo models but from my experience, most Porsche's take a bit of oil.

No kidding.........the redline is there for a reason. You're supposed to beat the **** outa these cars, thats how they're engineered! Never heard of anybody stopping at 4000rpm on a porsche because they're scared of going past that.

atm im using the Japanese brand "Elf" which renamed to "Total" engine oil
BTW, it's a French company, not Japanese
