I just took my 996 for its first test drive after installing the SC. I don't really hear any sounds and its hard not running it over 4K rpm for the breakin period. Completed all the work myself with only a water leak.

I love to hear more about your new sc. Are you a mechanic? You did your own install? Did you dyno the car before? What are your total cost? Does it make a high pitch noise? How does it feel? I have been doing some research about sc and have not got any feedback? Would like to hear about your sc and you experience?

Congrats on doing it yourself!

Wasn't so bad was it?

The first time for me 'took a bit of time' (I wanted everything done right)but now I can have the charger out and change the belt in under 2 hours!


When doing it yourself,it gives you a whole lot more satisfaction,but that is just my $.02....ask me how I know!

I just finished one on mine as well, who did your ecu upgrade? Is your rev limiter extended or is it still at the factory 6700rpm limiter?
