I have 19's and had Conti Sport Contact II's. I sent an email inquiry to Conti and their engineering department responded with 36 front and 41 rear. A Renntech thread suggested 32 front and 40 rear. The 997 with 19's requires 33 front and 39 rear.

I ran with 33/39 on my bald Conti's and both ride quality and handling increased from the seriously underinflated pressures the tires had with the previous owner. Oddly enough the tires showed even wear suggesting that they were not driven underinflated for very long.

When I bought my new Hankook Evos I stuck with 33/39 and after about 1K miles am quite happy.

If you experiment within the above ballpark pressures you'll find a ride quality that you'll like. All of the above were for spirited street driving with no track or DE.
