Why not consider a 996TT? You can pick up decent one for $35 - $40K Heck of a bargain and a lot more car for the $$

I have been looking at turbos too, those in that price range seem to have high miles or need work.

I've seen numerous 996TT's in my search before I bought mine. They were priced from a low of $31K to a high of.. well $63K (saw it tonight driving home).

You should be able to find a very decent one with less than 50K miles for less than $40K. There was one recently on 6speed listed at $41.9K with 39K miles (Lojack, Flash tune, lightweight clutch, pristine condition) and a three year warranty. It probably went for close to $40- great deal. Only reason I didn't buy it is I wanted white. I got lucky and mine even had the X50 package and was CPO.

Keep looking, you will find one. They are incredible cars - loving every min in mine!

if you pick it up for a good price, definitely get a good paint job.
p.s did that come from the factory like that or did someone get the whole car resprayed....?
