more_speed is infamous around these parts
Or get a AGM battery that will supply more instantaneous power, which is what performance vehicles need today. CCA and CA ratings were developed back in the early 1900s. It tests the battery's ability to produce power to the starter for 30 seconds, which was important back then. Try putting 30 seconds of charge to your starter now and it will burn it up.

Instantaneous power will turn the engine over faster and get you going faster. It also has the ability to revive itself faster from voltage drains. I have had great success with my XS Power battery (http://www.4xspower.com). You can get them through the forum sponsor Titan Motor Sports (http://www.titanmotorsports.com/)

I'll add my +1 for AGM batteries. I've never actually used it in a car but I've always had them for my motorcycles for leakage/spillage reasons (they unfortunately have the ability to park horizontally on occasion). They're much better at tolerating drainage if you don't drive that often. Just make sure you have a battery maintainer that it's compatible with gel cells if you use one.
