997 wheels for 996?

I have 997 Carrera S wheels (Lobster folk wheels).
19x8 fronts are et57
19x11 rears are et67

Do they fit to 996? Anyone with this setup?
All comments are welcome!

Do you also have a S?

I bought 997 NB rims for my 996 NB but they didn't fit. Could be a bunch of different things.

I might be wrong but they don't fit perfectly because you have 996 WB.
You know 996 C4 is wider than 997 C2S. I am sure 997 C2S wheels will fit to 996 C2.

I'm not sure about that.
You must mean a C4S.
The C2 and C4 are the same.
The S and the Turbos are both wide body.
I know that the 997 C2 is wider than the 996 C2.

Oh! I see. I did not know that 997 C2 is wider than 996 C2.
Thank you!
However, some said NB 997 wheels fit to NB 996 and
some said they don't. Who is right?

They fit. I have pictures to prove it. No spacers, no drop. The wheels will fit. These are lobsters, 19x8 fronts are et57, 19x11 rears are et67...

Looks like it has worked out for some and not worked out for others.

For those who have had them fit, have you guys changed the suspension on the cars?

It bugs me to no end to see that NB 997 rims fit on your cars, but they don't fit on mine! Other than the fact that I have a C4 and both of you have C2's, unless the suspension is the same, I don't particularly understand why they don't fit on my car.

Are your vehicles 2002 and newer?

My car has the original suspension. Maybe since you have a C4 and have a front differential, may add to the mix... Sorry about your misfortune.

I figure it must be the C4 part that is making things not fit.
It would also explain why the Bilstein PSS9/PSS10 part numbers are different for the C2 and C4.

Looks like I'll have to just get a 997 instead
