Switch Wing Wiring Help
Anyone do the DIY Mod to put the wing switch on the dash???? I just did it in my 02 C2 Cabrio...i ran the three wires but i can not figure out how to wire the switch so it lights up....anyone have any experience??

Do a search on garage door homelink. I did on but it was about a year ago. I grap the light power from a near by switch. I want to say it was a middle post.

I think it is the middle post as well...it seems that the ground for the light is not correct...

The outer two pins on the switch is for lights, you have to hookup two wires and route them to any other switch and connect it to their outer pins. Use 14-16gauge wires.
