I like the ducktail, I think that works on a cab but not sure. Also, I am not sure how it will look on a cab. It is kind of "square". I like the concept though.

MA Shaw Aero Wing Cabriolets

What does it mean by an insert wing? Is it bolted on and the decklid remains? If MA Shaw is the man for wings where would be best to go to get a gt3 front bumper for a 00 996 Cabriolet? So many options

Are you looking for a MK1 (correct for the year/headlights) bumper?

Or for a MK2? If MK2, you can:
- Get it for the old lights (99 to 01).

- Get it for the newer lights and change fenders (Mashaw has them) and new lights (about $600-$700 if you find non litronics used in forums with a bit of patience) and get a facelift.

Urethane. Can't beat price.

This is the first time I've seen a Mk.2 bumper of this type for the Mk.1. Interesting. But I still like the Mk.1 GT3 bumper for the Mk.1.

Check the classifieds, ebay, craigslist, or any porsche dismantlers. Buying one brand new from any Porsche parts dealer is gonna cost $$$, unless you go shop for a replica but preferably poly if they do exist. I got mine from ebay, new and OEM and it is the Mk1 version. It is currently in transit to my location.

Even thought it looks like it is gonna work, I would assume if they didn't mention it would fit a cab, then it wouldn't fit a cab. I just remembered now that I saw one in the classifieds for a RUF version of this ducktail and I asked if it would fit my car. The seller had to check with RUF and the answer was "no".

Well thanks. The fact is that I am looking to refresh the look of my car a bit, and I like the duck wing as well. Of course this is put off as I am dealing with the wonderful world of cracked cylinders and the subsequent choices.

I think that for the c2 cab a replica of the new sport classic duck wing might work better. It is a bit less square and I think it might flow better with the smaller profile of the cab, vs a coupe. Of course, it is not available yet.

Wow you guys are fast with the responses..Let me say this first, I'm just a novice and a new owner of a Porsche. Yes, I was looking for the MK1 bumper/skirts. So far I checked Suncoast, ebay, 6sp., craiglist.and I can't seem to locate one for a 2000 C4 Cab. Does someone even make it in a poly in the aftermarket?

well, all i can say is, be patient and keep on shopping. one of these days, the one you're looking for will come up in the market. but, of course, if you're looking for the OEM aero package, you'll not be the only one to be going after it so you gotta be fast.

as far as aftermarket poly, the gt3tek side skirts are nice IMO and the gt3tek rear valance is decent and they are all in poly. here's a larger pic of my avatar showing both.

i've done my shopping for a poly front bumper and i got myself an OEM GT3 bumper (what they call the aero bumper) which is made in poly. that is one option for you to be shopping for. the other poly option i've seen is turbo bumper for mk1 996 and they have it at suncoast.

I think the GT wing looks better. The TK one is lame, why eve get one if it's going to look like that.

Imo your car looks perfect as is. The Porsche cab's have a nice ***....the wing kinda ruins that.

Post some more pics of your car.
