Oil leak need advices

HI, I'm new into Porsches, just bought last Dec. a C4S 2002 with 57K miles.

And this morning I noticed on my garage floor a small oil stain about the size of a quarter.

I looked underneath the car and I saw oil stains.

Here's some pictures I took.

Can you tell me what problems I have to face with the car

thank you all

Sylvain

I could not see the pictures.
I suggest if you are a diy'er to check for anything loose. If this is really bothering you take it to your mechanic otherwise.
Best of luck.

RMS. Get your clutch done while at it.

thank you Joel

How much money should I expect to have this fix, let's presume I do the clutch at the same time.

And what about the IMS, can it be done at the same time as prevention?

Thanks

I have the same car (2002 C4S with 40K miles), had the same "issue" 6 months ago -> My extended warranty paid for the RMS and the labor (~$1.5K) and I paid for a new clutch, IMS and nuts & bolts (~$700)...

Bonne chance!

Replace the IMS bearing with the LN engineering retrofit while your in there. An additional $600 and about an hour labor.

You need to take some things into consideration. I used to have a tiny spot between the tranny and engine... You have a mess down there. Did you have a PPI when you bought it?
Labor for RMS is $1200 dealer price. Unless an indy can give you 2 year warranty, I rather go to the dealer. Clutch parts is $550, use it while having the RMS as labor from the RMS includes removing the clutch. If you can swing it, get the LN retrofit for the IMS bearing...

as with any engine oil leak, keep your eyes on the oil level if you plan to drive the car. Some repairs give you time to plan ahead (this one) some others like alternator and water pump, don't.
