Question Need Opinions Guys....Are Lock Bolts for Spacers Needed????

Calling all guys w/ Spacers out there.........

Ok, so the question of the day, are lock bolts a NEED or a nice to have when using spacers???? I can get a 5MM width spacers w/ a lock bolt, or a 7MM width spacers WITHOUT lock bolts. Little backgrounder, the car does not usually spend much time in "SHADY" areas if at all without my presence. It is always garaged at my house and whenever I go out, usually I'm parking it in a garage at malls and/or places I go to in WIDE visibility to mass population usually. Thoughts guys???? Thanks.

Depends where you live, I guess. I have the dealerships remove locks from my wheels on every car I purchase. When is the last time you have seen someone steal wheels anyway?

I agree. Here's the thing, I saw a picture somewhere on this forum I think of a guy w/ a 996 TT that had CERAMIC BRAKES where he parked his car in the garage of his luxury high rise apartment to only come out and see someone had stolen his wheels and had the car up ONLY on one cement block and the other three corners were ceramic brakes to asphalt..........that's my fear, but otherwise, I'm not very concerned. It's a risk we take I guess. Just wondering how many folks have the locks.

Cool

If they are half way proficient thieves, wheel locks will not stop them from stealing your wheels anyway.

Go w/ the 7mm if you think they would look flusher.

I have locks on my wheels that came with the car. I just need spacers too. I want it raked a little too, looks meaner that way. Any suggestions for 18' rims?
