To Chip or Not to Chip

Hi, I', a recent owner of a stock 1998, 996 C2, 3.4L, cable-throttle, Tiptronic. Going for some performance upgrade, I have bought:
1. K&N Air Induction Kit: 57-7000
2.
MaxSpeed Motorsports’ NHP Full Exhaust SystemTM for the Porsche 996 Carrera 99-04. This includes a set of Headers, 200 C.P.S.I Catalytic Converters, Mufflers and tips. Made of high quality T-304 Stainless Steel.

Would these two be sufficient or should I go for chip tuning? I live in Indonesia, so any possible DIY (customised) program out there, anywhere? Please help.....

I have an EVOMS Intake and after market exahuse (stock headers) and I did the softronic tune and honestly didn't notice any difference. I recommend installing your upgrades and then seeing how you feel. I'm sure you'll notice a difference with what you have there, especially an audible one, which is always nice.

If your still bent on tuning at least the softronic tune is a DIY and does not require you to send out your ecu.
