Unhappy Need help ASAP

Hello,
I'm having some problems with my door locks on a 2001 Porsche 996. For some reason when I use the keyless entry remote it locks only the driver side. I locked the car manually and only the drivers side locks not passenger side what's going on here? Any suggestions? I tried to arm the alarm, I am not hearing anything just flashing emergency lights. Could it be a fuse? Need some expert advice on what to do. Also what book is really good for the 996?

I have been told on Rennlist it could be a lock solenoid. Does anyone else had this problem with door not locking? How do I repair it? This is not good especially with the all the expensive audio equipment in there including the IPOD adapter.
Thanks for help guys.

I think there is a setting for unlocking both doors or just the drivers in the control menu.

sounds like a bad solenoid, the car will flash the signals when it is locked with the remote, but will not make a sound, so what you have is normal other then no actuation from the lock solenoid, the other alternative is some wiring issue, but thats not as likely as the solenoid.

+1, this is how the car acts when one of the solenoids fail. The alarm isn't actually setting since one door is remaining unlocked. I would turn my attention there first. Good luck.
