make your own gt3
make your own gt3
hello, my 1st post here...
how would one create a gt3 type car by tuning a stock 996. i would think 50% $ porsche charges could get 90% of the performance or am i off base?
body kit, wheels/tires, coil overs, intake/chip/exhaust, short shifter, etc. should make an exciting car. have any magazines tried to do something similar/
regards

buy a 2000 coupe ($40Ks), an $11K installed Evo supercharger (400+ hp), $4k for PSS9s with GT3 adjustable sway bars installed/corner balanced/aligned. Probably a good idea to get Evo's stronger clutch and single mass lightweight flywheel - appx $2500 installed if done with supercharger install. You could also lower the unsprung weight too (not necessary though since the GT3 weighs slightly more than a C2 anyway) with the LeMans Brembos to lighten up the unsprung weight ($8 to $10k installed).
