Where to buy Black Hood Crest

Wondering where to purchase one.

I know there is a silver one available from one of the vendors but really want a black one, anyone know where I can get one, thanks.

thanks, that was quick!

I also found one from the "Sierra Madre Collection"

they say their crest is also metal but there is a quite a bit of a price difference.

Anyone can vouch for either SMC or PCAR?

Anyone else out there that sells them? thanks

The SMC badge is not flat. It is slightly concave, unlike the OEM badge on my 997. It required bending of the pins to get it to fit evenly. Gentle negotiation was required.

Do you recommend it or would you have chosen another company?

Any pics, because honestly, the picture they have on their website does not give it justice IMO, thanks.

Please do

I am debating between pcar and smc

I have arctic silver with black rims and black emblem on the back, so I'm still decided, pics would help a lot.

thanks.

I've been debating this too. Although, I just don't see much (if any) difference b/w the OEM emblem and the black chrome version. Still looks 'gold' to me.

The pics don't do it justice. There's a big difference between them visually. Now whether or not it's "worth" it or it looks better, that's personal preference I guess.

I'll try to dig out my old gold one and take some side by side pics tomorrow maybe .....
