Question Wing Suggestion for my '02 C2

Any thoughts on wings for my car? I have read many posts.

Is it "not cool" to go with a GT 3 wing on a C2 996?

I also like the looks of Turbo look tail.

There's a good looking Strosek wing in the "forsale" section. Check it out, it looks good and the price is right.

The first thing I did with all of my P-cars was to replace the up and down spoiler with some sort of fixed wing. Like Itzkirb says - it's all about personal preference. I think a wing looks great on the car. And the Strosek wing is great.

I think the GT3-I taco style wing looks great on a C2, esp pre-02.

As Kirby might say...

the latest gt3 wing fits and looks best on the narrow body. I would also change your side skirts to the current gt3 ones.... and yes they will fit.... I had them on my 01 996 C2.

I second Vince's custom Strosek wing. You'll have the only one and all you have to do is a quick paint. He'll confirm, there's alot of prep with almost any wing you buy. You CANNOT beat that price with any other wing any way, shape, or form! I'm a little biased though!

Go with the Factory Gt3 items. They look the best on the narrow body car.....

Yep, got the Aero II kit (GT3 facelift) all the way around getting painted as we speak! I'll post some photos soon.

I too think the GT3 wing looks great.

I hear it's a simple bolt on wing.

But I also don't want to be called a poseur either.

I've read many posts on 6speed where people cut the poor guy up (I think he was in Alhambra) for having the GT3 exterior trim on a C2. Now, I think that guy had the GT3 logo stuck on his wing...that's asking for trouble.

What do you guys think of the GT3 wing with the C4S front bumper?

I can just see it...new post "Check out this idiot poseur 40Anny who thinks his C2 is a GT3...wish he would leave well enough alone".
