While I hope you have good intentions, what happens to the engines seems well-documented. When it happens and to what years, clearly varies. No specific warning--especially well in advance seems to be observable. So, the only thing left is the rate in the population--which you can't get without a major effort ($$$$).

So, it seems that this is the beginning of another alarmist article. Makes some model owners feel good; drives down the prices of the basic 996 (and soon, 997-1).

Ill-conceived project, unless you simply want alarmist crap.
