I have a tip, but I drive it manual (switching on the steering wheel).The car did this several times today over a long drive of about 280 miles:

Several times the revs wen up without me doing anything and having a steady foot. The same revs as I was accelerating from 60 to 65 mph, for example.

I thought it might be the transmission changing gears... but I was going in manual and it was not a gear change, just the throttle. Once they went up, the stayed. I had no luck replicating the issue. Although I think it was happening when I was between 3 and 4k rpm.

Any ideas?

 

hmm, similar thing happened to me today. I was in neutral in a drive-thru when my idle went up around 1200rpm multiple times.

 

ive had that problem too,. but only once, interested to see if anyone knows what it was
