02 C4 Cab vs 00 C4 Cab
I am looking at 2 cars that are both optioned out to suit my desires.
Price wise, for what they have, they are both comparable in my mind.
One has 60k mi, one 65k mi. I would be interested in seeing feedback / opinions if
one has any real benefit over the other. The mileage would end up the same after I picked up the lower mileage 02 from California. Any known benefits of the 02 other than the horsepower increase, glass rear window ?
Thanks in advance !

Get a PPI done on both. 00 has the MK1 body style and 02 has the MKII style. If the 02 had the aero kit, I'd go for it. Otherwise I'd chose the 02. I like the headlights better on the 02+. Engine wise 00's a 3.4 and 02's a 3.6 with a slight advantage in HP.

Thanks for the feedback. The 00 has the Aero Kit, the 02 does not.
The 00 has the Sport Seats, the 02 does not. Any comments from larger drivers about the comfort of the sport seats vs the regular seats ? As someonewith wider shoulders, Iwonder how comfortable they are.

I've owned both the '00 and '02 C2 (not C4). Without question if both cars pass PPI, I would take the '02 hands down due to what was already said and would prefer latest model year possible if u ever end up reselling. IMO, seems like Porsche got some of the kinks out when going from '00 to '02, but not all!

Thanks 996Jammy;
Resale is not really a high concern due to the age of the car.
Hopefully it will be driven for a number of years, and with it's age I won't feel
bad driving it and worrying about it getting it's first stone chip.
Any chance you could expand upon what you meant by some of the kinks being worked out by 02 ?
Thanks again for all of the input from everyone,

mil996, just curious...you weren't referring to my '02 by any chance right?
Ok in case you weren't LOL....then IMHO, I would go with the '02 also. I simply like the headlights more on the MKII, also the slightly bigger engine, and the glass rear window is a plus (no ugly yellow plastic...and I don't think it has defrost on plastic?).
