Question License plate LED's what color and temp?

hey, so I won an auction on some license plate led bulbs to replace the ones I have and the guy is asking me what color and temperature I want, what should I get?? I definitly want Blue, or White LED's but I dont know what temp... >?>

don't go with blue, that's a bit extreme. stick with white which would look more updated OEM rather than aftermarket.

just get white leds, they look like the ones you see on new lexus THEY HAVE A XENON LOOK

I you want them to look like factory Xenons, I would go for around 4,000 Kelvin.

That looks great! They don't have the ricer blue hue to them.

I didnt know that license plate LED bulbs had a temperature. I thought that was for the HID kits only, correct me if I am wrong. I would go for the white LED bulbs or 6000K temp (if that is an option for LEDs)

I think by temp he means color. I've tried a lot of led bulbs that are supposed to be "super white" and end up having a blue HID hue to them more in the 6k range.
I'd really like to find some led's for my license plate that are actually white as in 4300k.

These look promising but I'm not sure if they'll fit...

I bought this combo and the license plate bulbs are just perfect. The right amount of white you would need without the blue tint.

Whites are the only legal color you can use. Anything else opens you up for being stopped and possibly ticketed.
