997 turbo replica wheels with 996 nb fit

I ordered these from detail-king who is a board sponsor. For the price you cant beat them. Also I think they really fit the car well in tems of style and bring it up to date.

Looks great! Wish the center caps matched the finish of the wheels a little better.

Looks good but

Looks good but they did not raise the car properly, look at you side skirt it looks like it buckled a bit (picture with original wheel vs pic w/ new wheels)

Car was damaged before it was lifted, I installed them so I know they were done right (was lifted on a split hoist). The car was damaged after I took the old pic when it was driven into and up a curb at speed and cracked the right radiator, tacoed the front wheel, and really scraped it up. It is not my personal car I just wanted to share the results of the wheels on the rather bland 996. I’ve always been curious to see how newer 997 style parts on the previous generation body look. They were sourced from detail-king on 6speed. I think the silver with black embossed silver center caps would look better. But the color is matched exactly to the gun metal inner spoke color. The owner drove it off of a curb when he left so I guess I will hear how they hold up to the abuse. They are stock size 18” wheel and tire. All of the old chromed twists were bent and curbed to death. twisted to bits lets say!
