Dyno'd the Cab this weekend.
After over a year of ownership we finally dyno'd our 03 cabriolet to get a baseline:

Being used to the drivtrain loss on more traditional front-engine/RWD setups, I cannot honestly comment on the dyno other than to say that everything looks to be about what I expected. If anything the numbers seem slightly high for the advertised horsepower but I have not researched how these numbers stack up against other stock 3.6L 996s on Dynojet dynos.
There was also a car there that some might appreciate. My friend Joey swapped a Euro E36 M3 engine into his 89 M3, and he had a great day putting down some impressive numbers. His car is a throwback to another automotive era, and now it makes the kind of power one would expect from a more modern sports car.

Very nice and I do agree that the whp seems a bit high but maybe you had the Wednesday motor in yours.
Your friend Joey's car might've been my twin but due to a new baby, I sold my S50 setup last year but still have the e30 M3. Oh btw, your e30 isn't half bad either.
(I kid, it's awesome
)

)I suspect the slightly high reading is due to the nature of that specific Dynojet and isn't really something to get too psyched about, but I admit it's nice to see those numbers. To be honest, the power numbers are satisfying enough as-is to really only want to add a proper coilover suspension and new wheels and be done with it. I spend a lot of time around truly fast cars, and there really is nothing short of aggresive FI that will make the car what I consider "powerful."
Joey was really happy with his numbers as well, as he really just wanted to break over 270 whp.
