It's finally in my garage
Hi Guys,
Fairly new to the board (been watching and commenting here and there for a couple of weeks), but my 03 996 cab is *finally* parked safely in my garage.
Spent a good part of last week driving it home from Utah (home is Ottawa Canada) - what a great way to get to know your car!
It's in really good shape, but I bought it as a project. In fact my original plan had been to find a vintage restoration project. My wife wasn't too keen on the idea of several (maybe many) years of dismantled car parts everywhere and suggested that I look for something *newer* that I could tinker with as needed (as opposed to 'forever'). **Those who might still be dreaming of there first p-car and having trouble with their spousal unit take note
Although I'm handy I've never turned a wrench on Porsche before, so I'll definately be here a lot.
