Leave Carrera emblem or replace with 911 ?
I'm thinking about removing the Carrera badge/emblem and replace it with 911 (matte black as well)

Do you guys have pictures of the ones with 911 emblems?

I would leave the stock emblem personally..

The Millennium and 40th Anniversary Porsches were the only 996s with the OEM 911 badge. The 40th Anniversary has a little plate underneath it that says "40 jahre" [script].

PN for MY00 is 996.559.237.05 [FYI, OEM is ~$200]
PN for MY04 is 996.559.237.11 [costs even more ~$300]

I like my Targa badge ... although some kid street racer pulled up next to me the other day and said, what is that your driving? Really? Learn the sport ... then play. Not the other way around.

This is a very personal thing. As for me, I kept the Carrera badge.

Read post 4. Only 2 models came with 911 from the factory.
