radio code and battery change?

I have a 40th anniversary 996 with Nav/radio and would like to change my battery without going to the shop/dealer if possible.

I do not have a radio code for this. Do I need it for the battery change?
If so, recommendations?

Thanks....

You shouldn't need a code for the battery change. Changed it on mine a while ago and it did not request it.

If your really concerned you can use cables so the car doesn't lose the power to it, get creative with jumper cables...
