Post pics, Techart kit for 99

Does anybody have the techart II aerokit for 99s? I canīt find any pics online at all, other than the techart and cecwheels sites. The one with the whole front bumper, not only adding the front bumper lip. In particular, considering it for a cab.

At first sight, I found it a bit old fashioned, but after a while it has grown on me, albeit recognizing the "the old fashioness" factor, it fits the lines of the 99 quite well. What do you guys think?

Are there any replicas out there?

I think it looks good, but without the rear spoiler. is that a rear bumper upgrade on the silver one?

I don't know of a decent replica for this kit.

The rear wing is a whale tail, but I can't find anything or anybody with the front bumper. I guess people really wanted to get away from the 99 look. All replicas (per customer demand) are of after '02 models, adapted to the 99 lights.

Omar, not following your question...? Regarding the replica vs not, it is a matter of price vs. quality.

I did not like the front but it is growing on me. The more Porsche keeps updating the current model, the more different the 99's look to the point that trying to bring its looks current starts to be ineffective.

To me, from being outdated the 99 design has started to look nice in itself - including the lights - in its own right. It is starting to have a retro feeling, '60's a little, with those clean soft curves. Anyway, that's my perception of it, and whatever mods, I' like to keep and of course enhance that look. That particular techart aerokit makes the look a bit more aggressive but fitting the general car without trying to update it to a different standard (the newer cars). After all, it was designed then, 11 years ago.

My two cents,

Here is my step dads cab 4 with the techart package. I don't have a front shot that is any good, but you can see the side skirts here. it looks great!

Thanks jwhipple. I'd love to see a front shot, my car is same color and cab as well. The professional photos are always so nice that it helps to see the car in real life in some parking lot.

Thanks for pic! I am thinking about the integral front spoiler, vs the one in the pic which is a lip on the standard front spoiler. Looks pretty good though.

Edwin, those are very nice; I was actually inquiring about the Aerokit II front bumper as in CEC's link above. I have not seen it around, probably because it is already 10 years old. Do you guys make it? I did not know.
