Just got my Fabspeeds for my 40th Anniversary. What do you guys do with the O.E. mufflers?? Is there a market for them?

Store it in case you want to sell the car next time and the buyer wants it stock

There is no market for that

 

Bag 'em and throw them in the basement. If you sell the car, put the back and sell the fabs. That's the only way to get any money out of mods inthe resale market.

 

You might get $100.00 if you're lucky.... don't bank on anything more....

I held onto my stock mufflers on my old 996 for awhile and then just threw them out.

 

when I got my cargraphic exhaust, I did not get my O.E. exhaust. I probably would have just threw them out anyway. Taking up space.

 

i'll buy them for 100 bucks even a little more. seriously!

 

I swaped my stock ones for PSE!

 

I haven't put the Fabs on yet, (plan to this weekend if I have time) but I'm sure that I'll love them.

My stock is just taking up space.. Thinking about throwing them out.. anybody want it? Even if I sell the car for a 997s i'll leave the GHLs on bc it's not too loud and the new buyer won't even notice..

probably cost me more to get them swapped back out.. unless of course it's a perfect fit on the 997s

 

So Redduck, how do you like the GHL's?
