After looking at several options to make my 996 not look like a 996 or Boxster, the best looking is still to leave it to look like a 996/Boxster.

If it was not for the fact of the 996/boxter light marketing issue, they look pretty good. like the GT1 lights.

leave the lights alone unless you want to paint inside the light housing which can be tricky but I seen them done looks sick if done right.

Sort of like walking into the lions den...

I've got Techart headlight covers and painted the headlight washer covers to match, I like it on my P. but then again it's not the "fried egg" design and I think the front bumper has something to do with the way my headlight covers look as well.

Cheers,

Sid.

Stock lights look great. Never understood the desire to make them look different than boxter lights.

Obviously I am in the minority.

1- People do not want their rides confused with the less expensive Boxter version.
2- Porsches have had traditionally round lights. Now that they have gone back to round, the 996 series are considered "wrong".

Figures.
